April/May homework project Historical Story research project. Students are asked to choose an important figure from American history and answer the question 'How do stories of real people help us learn about what is imporant in the history of our country and its people?' |
January/February home project Students choose a subject ending with -ology, which means a subject of study; or a branch of knowledge. They must spend ten hours on research, hands-on experience, creating a visual, and a written paper. |
December home project Students are currently working with a partner to complete an at-home project on the early explorers. This joint project will include a written research report and a project/display board. They will also create a game the whole class can play that will share what they learned about their explorer. |
