Reading Assistance Opportunities
For parents who wish to work at home with their own children, or volunteer at school with other students.  We want parents to feel more empowered, and to be able to work more effectively with beginning and struggling readers. 

Art Adventures
You will attend a 3 hour training session at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts in October, lead one or two 45 minute long classroom sessions in your child's class in November, and join the class on a museum tour in late November or early December.

Fall Options Teachers & Parent Helpers
Watch for the Parent Options Teaching Request Form in your child's backpack.   Fall Options classes (six one hour per week sessions) begin Wednesday, October 29.

Many students are teaching Fall Options classes and need an adult presence to help support their teaching experience.  If you can play such a role, please contact Rus Thomas at 612-668-3580 or rthomas13@lycos.com.  Fall Options classes are scheduled Oct 29, Nov 5, 12, 19, and Dec 3 & 10.
