Each student's first semester course schedule will be mailed to students in August.  All students in the Uppers program follow a six-period daily schedule that includes the following course assignments:

• Mathematics (CMP-8, CMP-8, or Algebra I)
• Language Arts
• Science or Social Studies
• Literature Circle or Spanish II-III
• 17-day Specialist Class Rotation through Art, Music, P.E., Health and Media /Technology
• A single-semester 6th hour elective, chosen with input from students and families last spring
