The first semester we used a curriculum specifically designed for challenge
students called M Cubed.
The unit’s main focus of the probability unit entitled “What Are
Your Chances?” was being able to distinguish
between theoretical and experimental probability. At the end of
the unit the students made games that seem fair to the player but are
actually slightly unfair in favor of the “house”.
