Weather Fair, June 2, 2009
The students all presented their Wonder of Weather projects at the Weather Fair on June 2, 2009.  It was great to see all the great work the students did on these projects.

Camping at Baker Park Reserve, May 14-15, 2009
Kristin, Dawn, and Rebekah's classes spent a couple of fun days camping.  It started out a little on the cool and windy side, but there was no rain and it warmed up nicely by the time we came home.  Student teachers Meghan and Kristen and lots of parents helped out.

Hugo Farm Field Trip, May 13, 2009
Kristin's class joined Kate and Mary's classes for a field trip to Hugo Animal Farm on Wednesday, May 13, 2009.  It looked like rain but turned out to be a nice, dry day.  Everyone had a great time learning about, seeing, holding, and petting animals.

Author's Tea and Art Crawl, April 2, 2009
This Author's Tea was a bit different than usual.  The students all read one poem and then performed two plays.  It was followed by treats, of course. 

The kids  worked hard on the plays and they were VERY PROUD!!!  Everyone did a great job.  Thanks to Meghan for making it all work!

Project Salad Bar, January 30, 2009
Students shared their projects at the "Salad Bar" on Friday, January 30, 2009.  The projects covered a wide variety of topics.

Barton Snowman Works, December 18, 2008
Students went to work on the assembly line and created snowmen from pavers.  They were very cute -- both the snowmen and the students.

Stone Soup Lunch, November 25, 2008
The Stone Soup lunch was a big success.  Quite a few parents, siblings, and other relatives came to enjoy the yummy soup and cornbread.

Lantern Walk, November 15, 2009
Rooms 102, 104, and 106 got together for the annual Lantern Walk at Lyndale Farmstead Park.

Author's Tea, November 7, 2008
It was fun to hear all of the students read their books at the Author's Tea.

Hansel & Gretel Party, October 31, 2008
Rooms 102, 104 and 106 had a Hansel and Gretel party on Friday, October 31, 2008.  Students sang songs, made gingerbread house treats, made magic wands, and played a Hansel and Gretel Bingo game.  They also got their pictures taken in their costumes.
