Welcome to room 214 where we strive to create a supportive environment in which students have fun, while learning from each other. We will encourage all students to actively pursue their Hopes and Dreams and help them to feel comfortable enough to take risks and challenge themselves. We will engage in learning activities that give children an opportunity to connect prior knowledge to new concepts and apply new concepts to real-life situations. After discussing all of our individual Hopes and Dreams for this year, the students of room 214 developed and agreed on these rules to build a caring learning community:
- HAVE FUN WHILE BEING SAFE.
- TREAT PEOPLE THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED.
- LOOK AND LISTEN TO THE PERSON WHO IS TALKING.
- WORK HARD IN CLAS.
