| LearningWorks Information for 6th Graders 12/3/2008 10:35 AM - 11:05 AM Barton Open School has partnered for years with Blake School to extend learning for middle school students through a program called LearningWorks. The mission of LearningWorks is to offer a challenging academic enrichment program to motivated high potential but under served public middle school students, setting them on a path to college by preparing them to enter rigorous high school programs, and to draw talented high school students and college students into the education field by engaging them in the art of teaching. LearningWorks seeks to enroll students who demonstrate academic potential, a love of learning. leadership potential, acceptable behavior, to our summer and school year programming for two years, and need.
