February: book genre -- biography of a person of your choice

Puppet Biography Book Report

Read a biography of someone who interests you.

For this project you will create a puppet of the subject of your biography.  You will present this person's life through the puppet.

Part One:  Read the book.  Take notes about this person's life that will both inform and inspire your audience.  When you present your puppet, you will speak in the first-person, as if the puppet is really speaking.  So you will use the "I" word.  "I was born in 1898 in a small town in Minnesota...I am most known for..."

*****Use note cards to help you during your presentation, but you should memorize most of your report.
