Chuck Nelson Uppers Social Studies and Media
Hippie Version 07
Hippie Version 07
This is my second year at Barton and I'm loving every moment as an Upper.  I've taught in Minneapolis for ten years prior to Barton including stints at Lucy Craft Laney, Jefferson, and Four Winds.

I received a BA in American Studies and History from Moorhead State University and my Education MA from the University of Minnesota.  I studied with Chuck Norris for 27 years and have received my Ebony Belt of Doom.

Our awesome adventures in American History take place Mondays through Friday in Room 8A (the cave).   This year we are exploring America from th 1880's through the Second World War.  We will read/discuss events from multiple sources and search for the truth.  Simulations will allow us to travel back in time and get up close and personal.   Most work will be completed in class.   Media is third floor in the Media Center second hour.

Please contact my via email or come visit the cave in Room 8A.
