Author's Tea and Art Crawl, April 2, 2009
Meghan and Kristin
Meghan (our student teacher) and Kristin directed the plays.
This Author's Tea was a bit different than usual.  The students all read one poem and then performed two plays.  It was followed by treats, of course. 

The kids  worked hard on the plays and they were VERY PROUD!!!  Everyone did a great job.  Thanks to Meghan for making it all work!

Program:
7:45- 7:50  Admiring art and getting settled
7:50-8:05  Reading Australian Animal poems
8:05- 8:25  Play:  Love and Roast Chicken
8:25- 8:40   Play:  Anansi and the Moss Covered Rock
8:40- Treats and more art admiration.

Each student read their own poem about Australian animals while Aisha held up their "Beautiful Words" drawing. (Fiona helped with the reading and read the poems for the absent students.)
