| All School Family Potluck Picnic 7/8/2009 8:35 PMBarton welcomes new and returning students and invites them to meet their classroom teacher and their classmates for the next year at a Meet Your Teacher Social. All families are then invited to participate in a pot luck picnic supper where kids can reconnect with their school friends and parents can mingle in a relaxed setting. THURSDAY - AUGUST 27, 2009 Meet Your Teacher Social 3 - 4:00 PM - Barton School All School Pot Luck Picnic 5 - 7:30 PM - Beards Plaisance Eating areas wil be organized by homerooms so that you can meet other families in your child's room. Tableware, water and lemonade are provided. Bring the following if your child's last name begins with: There are 600 or more family members who attend each year, and we need
to gather a group of volunteers to shop for a few supplies, set up the
