| | | | | | | | | | Rebecca Till Room 218 | | Hi, my name is Rebecca Till. I grew up just outside of Detroit in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. I attended the University of Michigan for six years, where I earned a BA in Elementary Ed. and a Masters in Library Science. My first job in Minneapolis was as a media specialist for Barton and Lyndale schools. I then took a position as media specialist for Tuttle/Marcy school for three years, and then moved into a 1st/2nd classroom position for Marcy Open School. I stayed at Marcy for seventeen years altogether, also working as a 2nd/3rd grade classroom teacher, a 3rd grade math and reading resource teacher and a 5th/6th grade classroom teacher. This is currently my fifth year at Barton. I love spending my day with kids. I get to laugh and gets hugs everyday at my job, and the best part is seeing the "light bulb" go on.
This is Chipper, our classroom pet. She is a four year old mini lop-ear rabbit. She loves carrot tops, bananas, apple cores and electrical cords. She rests in her cage for most of the day, but will sometimes run around and visit us during morning circle meeting.
